POLLi Showcases Weed Management Tools in South and North Dakota Invasive Weed Conferences

POLLi was on the road recently presenting at both the North Dakota Weed Control Conference (NDWCA) in Bismarck, ND, and the South Dakota Weed and Pest Conference in historic Deadwood, SD.

While both events covered similar topics, each region fights a different mix of invasive weeds. The major takeaways from this event were the challenges that invasive weeds present in our local communities, including the budget and manpower needed to control, as well as the physical challenges of just reaching the weeds to apply chemical. Drones, especially spray drones, are becoming a more and more important tool for weed control boards across the Upper Midwest.
